The Northwood is about three minutes on foot from the beach, with family rooms and a garden. West Point offers B&B a five-minute walk from the promenade.
In Rhos-on-Sea, Staveley House is a contemporary four-star B&B in the village, and Whitehall Guest House has a seafront position with strong recent guest scores. All are small, so summer weekends book out early — reserve well ahead for July and August.
What to Expect
Most Colwyn Bay guest houses and B&Bs include breakfast in the room rate — a full Welsh cooked breakfast in the better ones. En-suite rooms are now standard in the well-reviewed properties; rooms with shared bathrooms are generally at the budget end. Parking is typically available, either on-site or by agreement with a nearby car park.
